2010 Timor-Leste and Development Partners Meeting

"Goodbye Conflict, Welcome Development"

Dili, 7 April 2010

In order to make information about the 2010 Timor-Leste Development Partners Meeting (TLDPM) more available, La'o Hamutuk has collected materials relating to the meeting on this web page. We will be glad to include any additional, relevant materials that we are informed about. All are in English except where indicated.  The Ministry of Finance has posted many documents from the meeting at http://www.mof.gov.tl/en/ae/TLDPM/tldpm2010.htm.

For information on last year's (2009) TLDPM, click here, or click here for next year's 2011 meeting.

Fragile States dialogue

Two days after the Development Partners meeting, Timor-Leste hosted the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding, bringing together the "g7+" fragile states and others (participants came from Liberia, D.R. Congo, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Chad, Burundi, Solomon Islands and Nepal) and development partners to discuss common concerns and map out a program of action. More comprehensive information is available on the dialogue process and from the OECD. La'o Hamutuk is only posting a few of the most relevant documents for Timor-Leste here.
