La’o Hamutuk has compiled this information to help people understand oil and gas developments which are crucial to the economic and political development of Timor-Leste. Timor-Leste and Australia continue to work to resolve ownership of disputed maritime territories. At the same time, Timor-Leste is coming to grips with complex issues about managing and developing its petroleum resources. We are continuing to research and monitor these issues, and will update this CD-ROM website a few times each year.
